Room was nice and updated. Beds were clean and comfy. Water was hot. Ample parking for truck and trailer. No complaints. We originally were going to stay in Whitehorse but all the motels looked sketchy and didn't have good parking. We worried about the safety of our trailer and it's contents at those hotels. This just felt like the better option
Checked in around 9pm, they had my keys and WiFi password sealed in an envelope right outside the office for convenience. Suite was very good and incredibly spacious. Had 2 rooms with total of 3 queen beds; 5 stars on cleanliness, neatness - looked as though somebody had actually ironed the sheets! Bathroom was Clean and well stocked with toiletries. Lastly, suite had a spacious living space with 2 sofas, large TV and a small dining table as well. Microwave and coffee machine are provided too. All in, was a very pleasant experience and will be staying here next time too!
We found this facility to be perfect. The room was impeccably clean with what appeared to be nearly new furnishings. The adjacent Mile 1016 Pub was also above average and had a good selection for the rural Yukon. Check in process was super easy as well. We will be staying here again, definitely not a place to miss while driving to Alaska.
Very pleased with our stay at the Alcan Motor Inn. We were instructed when we called to use booking.com to book our stay. There was a no-contact check in procedure where our keys were in an envelope waiting for us when we arrived and when we departed we also left the keys in the Dropbox. We never once saw an employee while we were there which was odd but we had no true need for contact either, it was just a different style than we were used to. Really loved the gorgeous view from the hotel. I was expecting our room to be really dated in decor style but I thought it was fresh and lovely! Very nice beds and bathroom with a small fridge (and maybe a few other kitchen things I didn’t use them so I can’t recall what all was there). Our pets were welcome but required to stay off the furniture. I travel with a pop up kennel for instances like this so it was no issue for us to respect that request! The area was quiet, there are a few restaurants nearby and also a gas station. Wonderful stay along the Alcan highway!

This was a great place to stay on my adventure to Alaska. Cozy rooms, clean, well stocked. I wish there was more parking. The restaurant in the parking lot was good. Definitely call ahead to reserve a room. I would definitely recommend staying here!! Exactly what I needed to relax.
My dad, dog and I stayed at this place while driving home to Alaska. I was blown away. Best motel I’ve stayed at in Canada. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were very clean and view is beautiful. We went to the restaurant and they had vegan and gluten free options beside just a salad. There was ample linens, soap and coffee provided. 10/10!
